Meet Jasmin

Pediatric Occupational Therapist, MOT, OTR/L

Helping infants and young children build confidence through connection, regulation, and play.

Why I started Metta Pediatric Therapy

I grew up in the Mahoning Valley, and I’m honored to serve the community I still proudly call home.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with children and families in home-based, outpatient, and school settings. Those experiences reinforced something I believe deeply—every child is unique and therapy should reflect that.

I started Metta Pediatric Therapy to provide the kind of care I believe families deserve—thoughtful, relationship-centered, and individualized. Giving each family the time, attention, and flexibility they deserve.

Becoming a mom has also given me a deeper appreciation for how full family life can be. That’s why I believe therapy should feel collaborative, meaningful, and rooted in what matters most to your family.

Why “Metta”?

Metta is a word that represents kindness, compassion, and caring for others.

Those values are reflected in my practice—from the way I partner with families to the way I approach each child with patience, curiosity, and respect.

I believe every child deserves to feel understood, every caregiver deserves to feel supported, and therapy should be a collaborative experience built on trust.

My Approach

Relationship-centered, sensory-informed, family-focused.

Instead of trying to "fix" one skill at a time, I look at the whole child.

That means considering how regulation, sensory processing, movement, play, relationships, and everyday routines work together to support participation in daily life.

Sessions are playful, individualized, and built around the activities that are already part of your family's day—from tummy time and feeding to dressing, play, and transitions.

I believe caregivers are an essential part of therapy, and I enjoy partnering with families to develop practical strategies that feel realistic and sustainable.

Why Home-Based Therapy?

I intentionally chose to provide therapy in children's natural environments because everyday routines offer meaningful opportunities for learning and participation.

When therapy happens in your home, I can see the routines that matter most to your family and tailor support to fit naturally into your child's daily life. Together, we'll build strategies that are practical, individualized, and easier to carry over between visits.

A Little More About Me

I believe some of the most meaningful moments happen during ordinary routines—playing on the floor, sharing a meal, reading books together, or taking a walk outside. Those everyday moments are also where children learn best, which is why those simple moments of connection are at the heart of my approach to therapy.

I’d love to meet your family.
