Services & Process
Support for regulation, connection, and participation in everyday life.
Metta Pediatric Therapy provides home-based pediatric occupational therapy for infants, toddlers, and young children. Services are individualized to each child and family, with support woven into everyday routines through play, movement, feeding, and meaningful interactions with caregivers.
-
Metta Pediatric Therapy supports infants, young children, and families when everyday routines feel harder than they should. Support is individualized to each child and family, with strategies built into the routines, relationships, and experiences that make up daily life at home.
Sensory Processing & Sensory Integration
Support for children who may be sensitive to, seek out, or have difficulty responding to sensory experiences such as movement, touch, sounds, sights, and body awareness.
Regulation & Co-Regulation
Support for helping children feel clam, connected, and ready to participate in everyday activities while empowering caregivers with strategies to support them.
Early Sensory-Motor Development
Support for babies and young children as they develop movement, coordination, body awareness, and sensory skills through play and everyday experiences. This may include support for tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, and other early developmental milestones.
Feeding & Mealtime Participation
Supporting enjoyable, responsive feeding experiences while building the skills needed for eating, drinking, and participating in family meals.
While these are the primary focus areas, services are individualized to each child and family and may also support play, daily routines, fine motor skills, caregiver confidence, and overall development through regulation, connection, and play.
