Getting in touch
You can reach out through the contact form to ask about services, availability, or whether occupational therapy may be a good fit for your child.
I’ll follow up directly to answer your questions and help you understand next steps.
-
Initial Conversation
We’ll have a brief conversation to talk through your concerns, your child’s development, and what support you’re looking for.
This helps determine whether occupational therapy is appropriate and ensures services align with your family’s needs.
-
Evaluation in you child’s natural environment
If we decide to move forward, I’ll complete an evaluation in your home.
This allows me to see how your child participates in everyday routines like play, movement, feeding, and transitions in a familiar environment.
During this visit, I’ll look at:
Play and engagement
Regulation and sensory responses
Motor skills and coordination
Daily routines (as relevant)
Caregiver priorities and concerns
No preparation is needed—just your child as they are.
-
Review of findings and recommendations
After the evaluation, I’ll complete a written evaluation summarizing my observations and findings.
We’ll then review the results together and discuss whether occupational therapy is recommended. If services are appropriate, we’ll outline goals and create a plan that reflects your child’s needs and your family’s priorities.
You’ll leave this step with a clear understanding of next steps.
-
Ongoing therapy (if appropriate)
Sessions take place in your home and are focused on supporting participation in everyday routines through play-based, individualized strategies.
Caregiver coaching is an important part of the process so you feel confident supporting your child between sessions.
What to Expect
A simple overview of what the process looks like—from your first message to ongoing therapy.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Many families come in unsure whether their concerns “count” or whether therapy is necessary.
This process is designed to help you gain clarity and decide together what support is appropriate for your child.
